Originally from eastern St. Louis in Missouri, Mr. Jones grew up in the Austin area where he graduated from Cedar Ridge High School in 2017. Starting out as a percussionist, Mr. Jones joined his first season of winter guard his sophomore year and has been heavily involved in the activity since. 

Mr. Jones has done several professional seasons both indoor and outdoor. He’s performed with the Madison Scouts from 2016-2017, Invictus in 2018, and ORIGINS from 2020-2024. 

As an educator, Mr. Jones directed Jarrell High School from 2021-2023, and Elgin High School from 2023-2024. He has also served as a technician for numerous programs across Central Texas such as Robert E. Hendrickson High School and Round Rock High School. Mr. Jones is extremely excited to become a part of the Sachse Mustang Band family!
